The use of orthopaedic traction frame

The correct use of orthopedic traction frame is as follows:

The patient was supine on an orthopaedic traction table. After anesthesia, 1/3 of the operating bed was removed, sacral seat cushion, perineal support base column, knee support bracket and traction boots were installed, the length of traction bar was initially determined according to the height of the patient, and each joint of the traction device was fixed. The patient was moved to the prepared traction bed, the hips were aligned with the lower edge of the bed, the lower limbs were suspended on the foot traction frame, the knee joints were placed flat on the support bracket and fixed, the feet were placed in the traction boots and the shoelaces were fastened. The abduction of the healthy upper limb should be placed on the handrest, and the affected upper limb should be properly restrained and suspended on the chest arm support. The Angle and strength of traction were appropriately adjusted according to the fracture type of the patient, and the reduction was achieved under the fluoroscopy of the C-arm machine, and good reduction effect was maintained through continuous traction.
